Excelsior! is creating a place for the community to share stories from events happening throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas—from concerts and art shows to community gatherings, local happenings, performances, and everything in between.
We’re looking for fresh, first-hand stories submitted within 24–48 hours of an event. Tell us what you saw, what stood out, and why people should care.

How it works
- Submit your story within 24–48 hours of the event.
- Include no more than 5 images.
- Include your name and Instagram so we can tag you
- Our community panel will review submissions and select stories to publish.
- Not every submission will be accepted or published.
- If your story is selected, you will receive credit as the contributor.
- Selected stories will be published in the Excelsior! Digital Zine on Patreon.
